Join our team as a Division Controller and take charge of financial operations overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. What you will do
- Be responsible for the Division Financials (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow and other KPIs)
- Drive IFRS closings for the assigned division, including monthly, half-year and annual reporting, as well as Forecasting and Budgeting
- Support the preparation of deliverables such as monthly management reports, cash reports, and other management presentations
- Take an active role and/or initiate projects to support Axpo's strategic direction
- Initiate process improvement and challenge the status quo to streamline processes, increase efficiency and accuracy
- Strive to understand Axpo's business, support the Divisional Management with the decision making process, challenge ideas, and give recommendations
- Cooperate with other financial departments to give or receive inputs
- Support other functions on an ad hoc basis (HR, Mid Office, IT) and present complex financial concepts in a clear manner
What you bring & who you are
- You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration and/or you are a Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting
- You have several years of experience in budgeting, forecasting and closing processes
- You have very good knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 9) and a good understanding of derivatives
- You bring a strong innovative mindset, technology affinity and expertise, especially in the areas of Hyperion Financial Management, SAP, Power BI, Excel/VBA or SQL
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and you have a positive attitude towards change
- You are a team player with good presentation and negotiation skills
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
